Ngima Dawa Tamang Hides his Connection to Bomjon | Allegedly Fake Orphanage Chhahari

Ngima Dawa Tamang has had a long association with the Bomjon cult. For many years he acted as a "money man" for Bomjon.  Dawa is an ex-tourist guide, the owner of an apparently fake orphanage called Chacchari, and the owner of a guesthouse called “Family Homestay" located in in Kathmandu’s Kapan area. The guesthouse was used to provide accommodations for visitors of Bomjon. 

Marici lived in Nepal from 2011-12.  She stayed at Dawa's guesthouse.  Marici says that Dawa's orphanage is used to funnel funds to Bomjon's cult:
Ngima Dawa Tamang is a liar who also played a role in covering up the crimes against me. He also tried to cheat me. He is a dangerous ‘extremely dedicated Buddhist’ who owns a fake orphanage and always asks for donations, but that money ends up in Bomjon's pocket, not his orphanage.
Like many fake orphanages in Nepal that recruit and use other people's children to extract donations from Westerners, Dawa's orphanage is believed to do the same.



Amidst public allegations of Ngima Dawa's ties to the Bomjon cult in 2020 on the Bomjon Reviews Facebook page, he posted a comment denying any association with the cult after 2012. However, former cult eyewitness Marici alleges that Ngima Dawa is lying that he left the cult in 2012:

"Ngima Dawa was very much been involved in everything concerning Bomjon much longer than 2012, and there are other eyewitnesses and proof to that. Ngima Dawa is probably claiming he is out of the cult because he started having police problems and for the public image of his business," which is recruiting "orphans" to get donations from Westerners.

Two examples of Ngima Dawa's involvement with the cult after 2012:

1. 2015-16: Ngima has been implicated in the cover-up and denial of hospital care to Bomjon's sister Manu, who had been brutally assaulted by the cult, injuries which proved to be fatal in the absence of hospital care.

2. 2016: US psychologist Dr. William Moore mysteriously died in Dawa's "Family Homestay" guesthouse. Moore had gone to Nepal in 2016 to serve his guru, not leaving any notes to his family. According to the US Embassy, which told Moore’s family about his death, Moore mysteriously died in July 2016 in an “orphanage which was also a family homestay." Moore's body was swiftly cremated by the cult, who claimed that “it was his last wish.”

NGIMA DAWA ALLEGEDLY IMPLICATED IN MANY BOMJON CULT CRIMES

Dawa has been implicated in many alleged crimes committed by Bomjon and his cult, including kidnapping, rape, and murder.

Marici says she was held hostage and sexually and physically assaulted by the Bomjon cult, and that Dawa was aware and complicit in these alleged crimes. Marici says that Dawa acts as a cover-up agent for the cult.

 Christine Casey heavily promotes Dawa's seemingly fake orphanage.  Marici says Christine Casey, like Ngima, was aware and complicit in the crimes she endured by the Bomjon cult:
Christine Casey knew about what was done to me by Bomjon and continued to support Ngima Dawa as if nothing happened. I can even easily imagine that she had seen Manu locked up at Dawa's propety and not allowed to get medical treatment or meet her family...
I know Christine from my very first trip to Nepal when I also stayed a bout two weeks Dawa's guesthouse. She seemed to do most of the organizing work for Dawa's orphanage. It was she who first helped introduce me to Kathmandu, as she was the only foreigner there that time. But we did not become close friends, just acquaintances. She was too formal, too diplomatic. 
Ngima, Manu (Bomjon's sister now allegedly murdered by the cult), and Junsei Terasawa.



NGIMA DAWA NOW HIDES HIS CONNECTION TO BOMJON CULT

Despite his connections to the Bomjon cult, Ngima Dawa now hides this.  Marici  says that Casey probably convinced Dawa to hide his association with the Bomjon cult, as the news of the crimes committed by the cult would interfere with foreigners donations:
I think Christine was either his business partner in the orphanage or his sponsor. In any case, there is a long bond of many years between Dawa and Christine, and she is protected from any of Dawa's dark activities in the Bomjon cult.  
Ngima Dawa used to have a Facebook page where he advertised his orphanage along with the Bomjon cult. I suspect that Christine had told him at one point that being associated with Bomjon's crime stories stories in the media would harm the reputation of the orphanage and the money flow.  
I felt very disappointed to see her still remaining with Dawa.  After all, my case was in the media:  The horrific experience of a European, one who she had walked through Kathmandu's zig-zag streets and had breakfast together with.
