Mata Ani: Elder Woman Kidnapped and Allegedly Raped and Tortured by Bomjon and Cult

Mata Ana was an elder woman who was kidnapped, tortured and apparently raped by the Bomjon cult. These alleged crimes would have been done at Bomjon's order and likely engagement.

Marici was a Bomjon follower, and she says she was held hostage and sexually and physically assaulted by the Bomjon cult. This included physical assault by Bomjon.  After being released, Mata Ani was kidnapped twice again.  Marici says she went to look for Mata Ani after she was released -- but could not find her.

This suggests that Mata Ani may very well have been killed by the cult, along with many others.

Below is Marici's account of Mata Ani when she knew her.

Please place the intention that the truth is known about Mata Ani and Bomjon's and others responsibility for her harm.

MARICI RECOUNTS WHAT SHE KNEW ABOUT MATA ANI

I have never spoken to with Mata Ani, but I have seen her at Bomjon's events. I don't know her real name, as "Mata" just means mother and "Ani" means nun.

I saw Mata Ani at Bomjon's Ratanpuri compound (the first meditation tree area) where she was healing some villagers from their illnesses with shamanic rituals. That time Bomjon's brother Ganga was there too, and was aggressive with her, arguing that she should not use Bomjon's premises for her own activity. Difficult to call it "business" as these Nepali shaman healers really do not take much money, and never ask for it, leave it on people how much they offer. Usually they take around 50 to 100 rps... a ridiculous amount. I felt embarrassed when Ganga was so unpolite to Mata Ani.

I think she was a deeply meditative spiritual woman, you can see it in the videos, where only a few of us seem to be delved in deep samadhi (Mata, me and an Italian guy Fabio, my friend, who already left Bomjon). I also have seen a special twitch in Bomjon's eyes when looking at her, he certainly had plans with her, similar to his plans with me (destruction).  He hates people with spiritual talent and experience.

Mata Ani deep in meditation.

When I realized someone else was held in the jungle just tens of meters from me, I did not know it was Mata, the shaman woman. I just remember hearing her chains and her yelling and wailing after being tortured and beaten, (the same way I was), she was calling her mother (Ama, Ama...). It was terrible.

When Mata Ani was released, she was emaciated, with broken wrists, and her hair had been cut by the cult.

I even don't know if she is alive. When she was released around a week after me, she obviously did not trust the corrupt police, she knew they were working for Bomjon. So she refused to join the police who came for her. She was scared to say anything bad about Bomjon to them or the media. She even claimed she was there voluntarily and that they did not torture her. It was ironic, as everyone could see her condition,:  Her hair was cut by them, she was emaciated, with broken wrists (like me), she could hardly fold her palms in "namaste: greeting...

After I returned to Nepal in 2012, I was searching for her, and that's how I began staying in Ratanpuri and Bungjor. No one knew where she was, but they told me interesting stories about her, which confused me a bit... They said she used to live in Ratanpuri (over the dry riverbed from Bungjor), in a kind of squat with other 1-2 Matas (shaman women). They were not well tolerated by all villagers, often accused of being witches. But when the villagers became ill, they turned to the shaman women.

Then at one point, Bomjon's men personally came to the village and kidnapped, if I remember right, two Matas, this Mata Ani and another one. The women managed to escape that time, but then they were kidnapped again. On one occasion the villagers defended them. You must understand that in Nepal police do not provider security. People fear the police as they are bribed to act as private commandos for those who can pay more...

No one could tell me where Mata was after being released by Bomjon. I ventured to many local villages, hidden remote ones too, to find her, but couldn't.

She was certainly also sexually defiled, though older than me. It is not even about sex, it is about humiliation. In fact they did all the things to her that they did to me. But in a way I thought that she was stronger than me in her dedication to Bomjon. To me that experience was a proof that Bomjon was a demon.
